The restoration is performed with cold technique, the sole option to avoid sudden changes in temperature to enamel, thus avoiding the inevitable blow of fillings or bonding.
I always use modern materials in full compliance with the purpose and its reversibility.
Notes on restoration
The cleanup of quadrants is done with appropriate solvents.
The filling of enamel is done with epoxy resin. After smoothing down the resin, a retouching painting is done by hand. The final protection with paint (gloss, satin or matt) is agreed with the client in order to ensure stability.
The restoration is guaranteed.
Before the restoration, the client must verify that the feet behind the dial are intact. In case they are damaged, the client must provide to solder them.
For the Black Forest type, restoration is executed as if it were painted on a wooden board.
